From time to time I like to imagine furniture pieces, no matter what room of the house we’d be talking about, as actual beings that have feelings or hope and dreams. Take this Vessel hammock here that wanted to be a bathtub when it grew up! It certainly managed to achieve that status thanks to the smart designers over at Splinter Works that made it all possible. The Vessel is the kind of bathtub you’ll never want to get out of, unless it’s for diving into the marvelous ocean out there. Unfortunately this hammock-turned-bathtub made of stainless steel, carbon fiber and gold leaf doesn’t come bundled with such an unearthly island in the background so you’ll have to settle just for the simple Vessel in case you are currently renovating your bath.
