Timothy Schreiber describes his work as “pop modernism” and all labels aside his style is creative and right up my alley. The Morphogenesis Chaise lounge started with a close study of micro-structural systems while a close attention to comfort and aesthetics were maintained. Schreiber enlisted the use of a high-tech computer program that completely digitalized the design process, but was left to decide on the individual elements, dimensions, and structural testing to good old trial and error. The Morphogenesis Chaise allows the user to position themselves in just the right spot to tilt the rocker in just the right angle for comfort.
