Designed by Tato Architects in Japan, the home in the images below looks pretty ordinary but once you enter the simple house you’ll discover some amazing design features. In fact the house on display today is nowhere near what you expect it to be once you step in it, at least virtually. Instead of clearly divided rooms and a plain roof over your head you’ll find strange openings all over the place and an equally strange ceiling that not only looks good, and quite daring, but also manages to merge the attic with the rest of the house thus creating larger areas and even more usable living space. All those windows strategically placed all over the place make sure there’s plenty of light throughout the house during the day, but also kind of neutralize any sense of privacy. Nonetheless this Tato Architects house is pretty astonishing for a regular-looking house.
