The kitchen is an important room of any house since food is the fuel each of us requires to perform our daily activities. Camp Design Inc., a Japanese architecture firm, has imagined a house built around the cooking area. The “House in Kamimachi”, located in Kamimachi, Japan, is the home in question, which has the kitchen at its center. Although the center element of the House in Kamimachi, the cooking area is clearly separated of the other areas of the home but no walls are used. Therefore the whole house, including the cuisine, offers a continuous living area, which will resemble a spacious studio apartment rather than a regular house with clearly divided rooms. All it needs now is some modern furniture.
