A coffee table is sure to enhance the appeal of any living room. Pictured here is the Rento coffee table from Swiss furniture maker Dietiker. I am a big fan of having design pieces that serve both function and fashion.
This piece combines both elements by offering a space to store books, TV remotes, magazines, and even children's toys. The storage is a great bonus, but so are the great looks of this piece. If you like a modern or minimal home, then this low table is sure to please. The simple metal legs draw inspiration from vintage modern. The wooden table leaves are very simple, thin, and to the point.
There is no wasted space here as we often see in minimalism. The organization of the wooden leaves offers a bit of complexity to the table since their joining forms a unique pattern. Symmetry is a good word to describe the effects of this assimilation. Designer: Fabiaan Van Severen
