Not long ago Austin, Texas was deemed the new “silicon valley” and with it came a young breed of millionaires who developed the beautiful hill country in to an oasis of stellar luxury homes and rustic mansions. Much of the beautiful homes and the interior design is geared to compliment the natural surroundings and feature wood and stone work with a sophisticated edge. Here is a small sampling of what you will see if you take a visit to my favorite state capital, and by the way the food and night life is the best around.
