Pictured here is the Chester sofa in white. In many ways it may look familiar to our readers since it is adapted from the classic Chesterfield sofa. For me the leather pattern is the give-away as it mirrors the roots of the old classic version. But this new version is anything but a traditional piece of furniture. I would say that there has been a complete overhaul! Designer Amanda Levete was influenced by the classic sofa and sculpture as well. Sculpture came into play in the creation of the polyurethane shell upon which the cushion sits. The cushion was then transformed into a complete new shape creating a modern version of the old classic. Chester is a limited edition sofa which measures 39″ x 112″ x 28″. Price: $19,344.
