The IRIS Crystal Lamp Collection By Swarovski Crystal Palace

At the Design Miami/Basel 2011 event, prepared to be dazzled by the stunning crystal lamp collection by British designer Fredrikson Stallard. Dissolving boundaries between luxury and design, the IRIS Collection has been inspired by the human eye and embedded with thousands of sparkling Swarovski crystals.

Supported on metal stands, which in turn have been inspired by  photographic and surgical lighting, the collection has been commissioned by Swarovski Crystal Palace. The IRIS Crystal Lamp Collection is a sublime artistic piece that pays homage to the human eye beautifully.

Each piece is 1.5 meters in diameter and contains over six hundred hand-cut crystals and the subtle distinctions in the configuration of the crystals, represent the illusive qualities of the eye.
