Wallpaper* Magazine has two of the biggest names in design not only gracing their pages but signed on as Guest Editors for the October issue. Karl Lagerfeld’s guest-edited section focuses on his visual contributions spanning architecture and fashion design as well as photography in which you will see 27 pages of his shots including travels to ancient Rome and mid-century Paris. Lagerfeld introduces the first Wallpaper* peelable cover that portrays a before and after shot. In addition, the October edition features co-editor and leading product, furniture, and interior designer Philippe Starck who has a new passion and purpose, “‘It is my mission to make intelligence sexy”. Furniture Fashion has shown our readers many of Starck’s furniture designs in the past and his cover for this issue features a triple-layered transparent back cover that works in conjunction with a bespoke advertisement by Absolut.
