I have seen all of the newest modern fireplaces on the market today but some of my favorites have been around for quite a long time. The Gyrofocus was the first in a series of rotating, suspended fireplaces, and is a classic Focus design that is as relevant today as at the time of its creation by Dominique Imbert in 1968. The Gyrofocus can rotate 360º and offers exceptional heat efficiency. It features a custom made flue for ease of installation and has been exhibited in the Guggenheim Museum, in New York, The Bordeaux Modern Art Museum, and the Grenoble Modern Art Centre. Here are some of the other really unique suspended modern fireplaces from the Focus collection available from EuroFlues.
