Here is a mid century George Nelson dining table made by Herman Miller in the 1950s. This product is referred to as a swagged-leg dining table. The origin of the name relates to the design of the legs which come done vertically and then sway at an angle until the legs meet the ground. The table top is made of maple as are the leg supports found underneath the table top. The legs are constructed of chrome. Market value: $2,200-$3,000. Dimensions: 47.5″diameter x 29″h.
